A golden opportunity has come for those students of Rajasthan who want to make their future in the field of education. The official notification has been released by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota (VMOU) for Rajasthan PTET 2 Year Course 2025. This course is a two-year B.Ed course for candidates wishing to enter the teaching profession, for which the online application process has started from 5 March 2025 and the last date has been fixed as 1 May 2025.
Rajasthan PTET 2 Year Course 2025 Last Date
Considering the number of applications received so far, the last date of application has been extended. Only 1.5 lakh applications have been received for 1.06 lakh seats, which is relatively less. That is why the application date has been extended by VMOU with the aim of giving more time to eligible and interested students.

Rajasthan PTET 2 Year Course 2025 Syllabus and Exam
PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) exam will be conducted for admission in this course run in various colleges of Rajasthan. The date of the exam has been fixed as 15 June 2025, and its admit card will be released online one week before the exam. To appear in the exam, it is mandatory for the students to fill the application form by visiting the official website of PTET.
Rajasthan PTET 2 Year Course 2025 Application Fee
A fee of ₹500 has been fixed for candidates of all categories to apply for this course. You can deposit this fee online through net banking, credit card, debit card or e-challan.
Rajasthan PTET 2 Year Course 2025 Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for this course should have a graduation or post graduation degree with 50% marks. Whereas, for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, Divyang, widow and deserted women, the minimum qualification is 45% marks. Students studying in the final year can also apply, but they must qualify by the last date of counselling.
Rajasthan PTET 2 Year Course 2025 Selection Process
Based on the marks obtained in the Rajasthan PTET entrance exam, students will be allotted their preferred colleges. Candidates securing good marks in the exam will be given preference. After the result is declared, the counselling process will begin in which a fee of ₹5000 will be charged. If a candidate is not allotted a college, this amount will be refunded, and if the college is allotted, the remaining ₹22000 will have to be deposited and reporting will have to be done at the college.
